Lamar Odom, 31, may have three kids already with his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales but Khloe Kardashian is longing to have one of her own with her husband of two years. The 27-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star blames her hectic schedule with her inability to get pregnant and fears that she will only be a stepmother and not a real mother like her sister Kourtney, who has a son Mason with Scott Disick.
Now Kourtney and Lamar have started to discuss IVF treatments. “(Khloe) told me she’s been working with a doctor and a team of people to help her get pregnant,” an unnamed source told Life & Style magazine. ”She recently stepped things up and began exploring new methods. She’s asked about every possible way to help her infertility problems, like trying artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization. She really wants to get pregnant by the end of the year.”
Khloe talked candidly about wanting to be a mother when she guest-hosted the Today show. “We would love to have kids,” she said. “It’s so hard. I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time you have to get pregnant. I never knew about that. No one ever taught me that. When you have schedules such as ours, it’s really hard to hit that mark. So it’s frustrating, but definitely, I want to have kids. It’s scary [thinking], ‘Oh God, what if I physically can’t have kids?’”
